Already, many people who saw the suffering that Jesus endured are asking, “Why did Jesus do what He did?” In Acts 3, Peter answers this very question. His sermon, recorded in this chapter, explains the power of Jesus’ death and resurrection - a power able to cleanse us from sin and bring us to eternal life. Today we ask, “What is the result of the passion of Christ in you?” Have you been set free by His passion, His suffering? Have you experienced the miracle of a transformed life?
