In this first of a two-part series entitled "Wars and Rumours of Wars" Pastor Alan takes as his starting point the reply of the Lord Jesus to the questions of His Disciples on the Mount of Olives.

Much of what the Lord foretold was fulfilled in Jerusalem in AD70 during the Roman siege but the Lord's prophecy has a dual fulfillment with the greater fulfillment taking place today - one fulfillment is not exclusive of a further interpretation as in the case of many other Bible prophecies.

This prophecy is right up to date with world-events in the News. Jerusalem has indeed become "a cup of trembling" and the nations are being drawn into their respective positions for the final conflict of nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom as foretold in the Scriptures.
