Jerusalem 1917-2007:90 Years of Turmoil
Speaker: Pastor Alan Campbell
Date: 12/12/2007
References: Luke 21:24;Isaiah 31:5;Daniel 12:12;Zechariah 12:1-3

In this talk, Pastor Alan traces the history of the city of Jerusalem from December 1917, the date of its liberation from Turkish rule by British and ANZAC troops, to the present time. He shows how in prophecies given over two thousand years ago, Isaiah 31:5 and Daniel 12:12, not only the manner of the deliverance but also the actual year were accurately foretold.

The Prophet Zechariah also declares that Jerusalem will be "a cup of trembling" and "a burdensome stone" to all the nations who become involved with her and history as well as more recent events clearly substantiate this claim.

Pastor Alan shows how the city of Jerusalem has become both a focus of political intrigue and a "powder keg" in the Middle-East as the Lord gathers the nations together for the final conflict of Armageddon.
