In this introductory message of a two-part series on "The Remnant of Judah Revealed in Germany", Pastor Alan explains that while not all Germans are of "Judah" and Germany is not an "Israel" nation as such, nevertheless a sizeable number of the Tribe of Judah settled in this area during their migration ever westwards.

Germany was never a unified nation but rather a "patchwork quilt" of different peoples, states and cities. The Tribes of Israel certainly figured in this mixture but so also did other ethnic groupings - such as the ancient Assyrians. Consequently, there were many racial differences between the inhabitants of Germany with the German language being the only common bond.

Pastor Alan shows that this "Germanic" connection with God's "Israel People" - and particularly with the "Tribe of Judah" - is not generally recognized today for a number of reasons. World Wars I and II engendered a wave of acute anti-German feeling - in any war Truth is always the first casualty - and anti-Nazi sentiment became blurred and confused with anti-Germanism.

In this study, Pastor Alan demonstrates how northern Germany became largely the racial seedbed of the Angles, Saxons and Jutes - the peoples who moved into the British Isles on the departure of the Romans. The Israelitish gene-pool in Germany was further depleted during the Thirty Years' War which devastated Germany. Hundreds of thousands lost their lives duing this period and many emigrated to the United States to escape the persecution.

He also points out that as Judah was the "Royal" Tribe, the links between Germany and our British Monarchy - the recognized "Throne of David" today - are many and varied. In addition, that there have been many great spiritual awakenings and revivals in the areas where these peoples settled is yet another indication of their identity with God's Israel People.
