Paul instructs the church in Ephesus not to be “tossed back and forth by waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching…” (Eph 4:14). One of the newest and most influential trends in theology today has been the rise of the New Perspective on Paul. Its attractiveness stems in large part from how the thesis seems to heal the previously irreparable breach between Protestants and Catholics. Is this New Perspective something to be excited about?
