"Solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short." So the philosopher Thomas Hobbes described the natural state of man, and that's how many people would summarize their lives. Is that how you're feeling about life? Maybe not entirely, but has it been that way for you so long that you think human life is just that way? There is a different experience you can have in this life. Romans 8 holds out an incomparably better hope.
